• You have a right to expect dental team members to use required protective, infection controls measures.
• You have a right to understand all your treatment options and alternative measures. You have a right to have them explained in language you understand, and know the advantages and disadvantages of each option.
• You have a right to know the education and training of your dentist and dental team.
• You have a right to know what professional rules, laws, and ethics apply to your dentist and your dental team.
